The course will have 3 main modules – 

i)                    Basic Refrigeration & Air-Conditioing

ii)                  Repair & Maintenance of Deep Freeze/Refrigerator/Water Cooler

iii)                Repair & Maintenance of Air Conditioner

After the completion of the course, the participants would be able to : 

·         Handle the basic tools & equipments in the workshop with safety

·         Upkeep of the workshop tools & equipment

·         Identify the main mechanical components & electric motors used in RAC trade

·         Maintain the inventory

·         Install a refrigerator/room air conditioner/water cooler/deep freeze

·         Service a refrigerator/room air conditioner/water cooler/deep freeze

·         Do Pre-delivery inspections

·         Check performance

·         Identify refrigerants using gauges

a.       Prepare joints before brazing

b.       Check series of the compressor with the help of test lamp and Multi meter
